Mr. Pekker received his B.S. degree in Mathematics (with honors) and M.S. in computer science from Stanford University, A.M. in Mathematics from Harvard University, and Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Dodge & Cox in 2021, he was a managing director at Cambridge Associates, responsible for thought leadership, asset allocation, and liability hedging portfolio construction for pension clients. Prior to Cambridge, Mr. Pekker worked with institutional investors at Sage Advisory Services, Ltd. Co., Wilshire Associates, and Mercer. Mr. Pekker is a CFA Charterholder and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
