In the Community
Our founders led the way
Since the late 1930's, our founders, Van Duyn Dodge and Morrie Cox, placed a priority on leading and providing financial support to a range of community initiatives in San Francisco. Mr. Dodge was a co-founder of Coro, a fellowship program "of educational discovery to prepare citizen leaders." Among his philanthropic roles, Mr. Cox was a leader of Community Chest, which later became the United Way Bay Area in California.
As our firm has grown, so have our opportunities to serve the community at a local and global level. We primarily support local non-profits focused on providing educational opportunities for youth—many first-generation college bound—and global organizations that provide critical emergency relief, education, and health care services.
More than 170 non-profit organizations received our hands-on support and donations in 2024.
