- Evaluating and debating analyst recommendations and analyses to collaborate on buy, sell, and position-sizing decisions across individual holdings and sectors.
- Overseeing the strategy’s implementation and monitoring portfolio holdings, making changes when appropriate.
International Equity Investment Committee

Emerging Markets Equity Investment Committee

Balanced Fund Investment Committee

The Committee combines expertise across asset classes, risk management, and asset allocation. The primary responsibilities of the Committee, whose members’ average tenure at Dodge & Cox is 18 years, include:
- Determining asset allocation across stocks, fixed income securities, and cash.
- Constructing a diversified portfolio across industries and sectors.
- Holistically evaluating investment advocacies for individual holdings, setting issuer position sizing, and analyzing portfolio risk and return scenarios.
- Overseeing the strategy’s implementation and monitoring portfolio holdings, making changes when appropriate.
Our Committee members are Dodge & Cox shareholders and invest in the Balanced Fund.
U.S. Fixed Income Investment Committee
We believe investors benefit from our team-based approach to managing investments. Through close collaboration and debate, we bring our best ideas forward. The primary responsibilities of the U.S. Fixed Investment Committee, whose members’ average tenure at Dodge & Cox is 24 years, are to:
- Set broad portfolio strategy, including individual issuer targets, sector weightings, duration, and other portfolio characteristics.
- Diversify the portfolio prudently across issuers, sectors, geographies, and economic exposures.
- Carefully monitor and evaluate portfolio exposures and risks through regular scenario analyses, stress testing, and risk modelling, making changes when appropriate.
- Oversee the strategy’s implementation through close collaboration with our trading team.
Our Committee members are Dodge & Cox shareholders and invest in the Income Fund.
Global Fixed Income Investment Committee

- Diversify the portfolio prudently across issuers, sectors, geographies, and economic exposures.
- Carefully monitor and evaluate portfolio exposures and risks through regular scenario analyses, stress testing, and risk modelling, making changes when appropriate.
- Oversee the strategy’s implementation through close collaboration with our trading team.
